Staying head and an airy malt aroma. Lightly balanced caramel-malt with vague bittered ending. Quite good.

Very impressed with this beer. Nice Orange/Amber Color, flavor nice and robustly hoppy. Another great Oliver beer.

I really like this Irish Red, it's better than most I've tasted. Nice hops and a beautiful color.

More of a tan-red color than an actual red. Slightly sweet and spiced, with moderate hops. In fact, "moderate" is the word I'd use to describe the beer in general; it's a good generic red ale, but it's got nothign special to reccommend it.

Draught @ The Wharf Rat: This one pours an amber color. It had a small off-white head on it. The aroma was lighter, but contained notes of grassiness and some caramel malt. The taste was decent enough. It had a fairly decent malt body with some hop bite. Not real exciting, but not bad either.

Clear red with a creamy tan head. Malty aroma and taste with a mild bitterness and a creamy mouth feel.

Location: Draft at the Pratt Street Ale House, 9/6/09

Aroma: Sweet caramel malts, some grassy hops too
Appearance: Dark reddish color
Flavor: Similar characteristics to nose, but a little more robust
Palate: Smooth finish, medium-full body
Overall Impression: This was a pretty nice Irish red beer, one that wasn’t overly special, but was certainly good enough to be enjoyable.

on tap-pours white bubbles for a head and amber/copper color. Aroma is mild medium malt-some sweet, roasty. Taste is mild medium malt-some sweet, roasty/peat, some fruit-yeast, secondary dry/coppery hops. OK/mild carbonation.
