Dark color, no head or lacing. Nose of mild roast, grass and pineapple hops. The flavor is a bit acidic with some of the malts. The finish is thin, could use more roast and body. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jul 23, 2006 Minimal head atop a clear red-black body. Aroma is medium sweet, vanilla, cola. Taste is medium sweet, cola, some earthy, light salt. Light body, low carbonation. mj (4975), Colorado, USA Jul 22, 2006 Draft at Wharf Rat, Baltimore. Clear but dark brown color. Sweet nose of cheap grains, toast, and dark candy sugar. Brown sugar and soy as well, but not too offensive. Fizzy and thin on the palate, very lightly spicy. Sour on the finish, slightly. Boring, I guess, and a bit undrinkable.
