Draft at Wharf Rat on Pratt. Rusty gold with a tall creamy white head. Nose is flowery, lightly hopped and semi-sweet. Taste is malty, sweet, flowery, fruity, and has some light hops. Body is creamy and smooth with mild carbonation. Finishes with more sweet malts, flowery and slightly spicy hops and fruit notes.

Nitro... Hazy, deep amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, almost beige head. Impeccable retention. The nose is greatly diminished by the nitro infusion, but as the herbal, earthy beer warms there are gentle reminders of leather, butter and grapefruit. Good balance in flavor. Well-bittered for the style. No sweetness. Medium-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Great cream ale!

(Draught) Pours an amber body with a moderate off-white head. Malty and creamy; enjoyable ESB.

Very creamy and delicious. One of the better ones available at the brewpub. Easy to drink in everyway. A wonderful beer. Cream is the appropriate word.

One of the nicest textures I ever had in a beer. Dark brown, almost opaque color, with a tannish creamy foamy head. Could taste a hint of hops, but moreso dominated by maltiness. Smooth drinking, and a heck of a lot better than boddington’s.

The brewery’s take on Boddington’s. The beer focuses on mouthfeel and forgets to employ flavor. Not bad. But sure as hell not "robust", as the commercial description indicates.

This is a very dark amber beer with a big creamy head. It's milky smooth, heartily malty and wonderfully robust in the tradition of the best British bitters. Beautiful.
