| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 28, 2006 Nitro... Hazy, deep amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, almost beige head. Impeccable retention. The nose is greatly diminished by the nitro infusion, but as the herbal, earthy beer warms there are gentle reminders of leather, butter and grapefruit. Good balance in flavor. Well-bittered for the style. No sweetness. Medium-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Great cream ale! bu11zeye (5635), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 11, 2004 One of the nicest textures I ever had in a beer. Dark brown, almost opaque color, with a tannish creamy foamy head. Could taste a hint of hops, but moreso dominated by maltiness. Smooth drinking, and a heck of a lot better than boddington’s. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2004 The brewery’s take on Boddington’s. The beer focuses on mouthfeel and forgets to employ flavor. Not bad. But sure as hell not "robust", as the commercial description indicates. Braudog (3778), Dayton, Ohio, USA
