Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 18, 2006 A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma has light notes of citrus and fruit - a bit boring. The flavor has notes of citrus, fruit - peaches, and lighter notes of toffee. The mouthfeel is very creamy and smooth. argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Jul 23, 2006 Beige head atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, some cola, vanilla, earthy, light salt. Taste is medium sweet, earthy, some cola, light vanilla, salt. Soft, light-medium body. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 3, 2006 Draught @ The Wharf Rat in Baltimore
Amber color, creamy white head, lots of lacing. Nose of light grassy citrusy hops and some sweet malts. The flavor is tangy, moderately bitter. Too much citris character to clash with the malts. hopscotch (4477), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 28, 2006 Nitro... Hazy, deep amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, almost beige head. Impeccable retention. The nose is greatly diminished by the nitro infusion, but as the herbal, earthy beer warms there are gentle reminders of leather, butter and grapefruit. Good balance in flavor. Well-bittered for the style. No sweetness. Medium-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Great cream ale! bu11zeye (3656), Frisco, Texas, USA May 18, 2006 (Draught) Pours an amber body with a moderate off-white head. Malty and creamy; enjoyable ESB.
