liinis (393), Finland Apr 7, 2008 I remember this beer as one of the best "high volume" beers at its time for to buy a 12 pack and get drunk.. times have changed since... Should not have retired. Lapin Kulta should retire. raymondwave (788), Finland Nov 23, 2006 One of the better finnish lagers. I hate to see this one too retired. Too many good beers get retired. It was quite tasty and fruity without being too sweet. Dorqui (1283), Brescia, Italy Feb 27, 2006 Updated: Sep 16, 2007Bottled 0,33L. Compact foam, medium duration. Yellow pale color, much fizz and limpid. Watery and indeed gaunt scent with notes of dampen cereals. Much fizzy and stinging taste... nothing other unfortunately. Watery, inconsistent and modest bitter final.
Thanks to mabjork also for this one. jutuahol (189), Jyväskylä, Finland Nov 25, 2005 Rated 2003-12-18 Light, golden, fizzy, white head. Aroma is light and mild, somewhat malty, flowery , notes of fruits. Light, even watery body. Notes of fruits in flavor, moderately bitter. Typical bulk lager. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 14, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) "Another bland and boring Finnish pils", Pernille would probably say about this - but it’s not really THAT bad. Pale golden, pretty much without any head but high on CO2. A bit of malt-sweetness, almost no bitterness. Slight alcoholic notes. 040605
