liinis (481), Finland Jun 20, 2008 this is on top of the pyramide of pale lagers in finland for me. smoother and tastier.
tlind2 (271), Helsinki, Finland Aug 22, 2008 Draught. Golden color, white head. Pretty boring malty aroma. Malty flavor with just a touch of alcohol, low bitterness. Slightly better than the III version and definitely one of the better mass-market beers of Finland. gnoff (2832), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 3, 2008 (33 cl bottle brought home from Åland by a friend) On August 3, 2008 Clear golden color, white head. Canend vegetables, malty sweet scent. Sweet, sugary, slight bitter taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. SaintMatty (519), Tallinn, Estonia May 26, 2008 330ml Bottle- Dark golden/amber in colour. Lightly hoppy aroma with pear, malt and a hint of honey. Despoite this, it seems a bit sterile. Mildly sweet and malty taste with a bit of grain and mild hops. A bit more flavour than your usual lager but nothing special. FatPhil (2367), Espoo, Finland Apr 23, 2008 330ml bottle (alko)
Orange, brief head. Slightly sweet (honey?) malty and hoppy aroma - however, those are heading towards plastic and metallic respectively. Slightly fizzy on the palate. Decent sweet malty body - almost a breadiness, complete with a burnt crust - for a lager, but not much to really grasp at and the hops are a bit astringent, so don’t savour this in the mouth too long. (One of my drinking habits is to leave the beer in the mouth quite a long time.) Finish lasts for a short while - a dodgy kind of hoppy bitterness, and some trailing simple malts too. No superstar, but no dud either. I could imagine chucking back several of these in the sauna.
