Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 16, 2006 [At RBESG 2006] A hazy amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and straw, I find the aroma a bit thin. The flavor is sweet malty with a dusty hop note, and a light touch of alcohol. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 18, 2007 Canned, thanks oh6gdx! Clear darkish amber, rich head. Light caramel aroma. Sweet with lots of butterscotch and caramel. Medium bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Low on hops, but with a fair amount of malt. Mild and one-dimensional, but with some substance. Good for being Olvi. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 29, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber colour with a small, beige head. Lovely aroma of caramel. Flavour is full of the same caramel, but it’s still fresh and mainly dry. Pleasant fruity notes which could make you believe that this is actually topfermented, but yes I also vote for the Vienna classification. Very pleasant. 270905 oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Feb 3, 2005 Bottled. Dark amber colour, small white creamy head. Malt, caramel and a bit roasty in aroma. Sweet malty taste with hints of caramel. Semi-bitter aftertaste. Wellbalanced and a bit dry. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Oct 24, 2006 Bottle. A little unexciting, but theres some OK flavours going on in here. Some sweet malty caramelflavours, with a subtle toastyness. A little sweet and thin, but i didn’t mind it too much.
