FatPhil (1960), Espoo, Finland Apr 26, 2008 330ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Red to brown, small tight head. Fruity - dates and raisins - with spices and plenty of grains, and pretty sweet, a nice caramel edge. Very big for a lager. Taste is massively grainy - husks and a bit nutty. Some mellow woodiness and more sweetness. Pleasant nutty finish, a very interesting and tasty darkish lager.
liinis (351), Finland Apr 7, 2008 for a christmas beer too light and tasteless. for a normal beer on Finnish level it has a little more flavor and character begbie100 (96), Oulu, Finland Dec 6, 2007 500ml can. Light brown head, reddish brown colour. Sweet malts aroma. Average palate. Flavour of sweet roasted malts, rye pudding, vegetables and some metal. Not so greatly balanced.. kinda dank. taunusmies (221), Finland Dec 3, 2007 Pours dark amber colour with a large head. Soft, malty aroma, but a bit too thin. Sweetish taste with a slightly metallic touch. TET (119), Finland May 4, 2007 Nice dark copper brown beer. Light flavour and aftertaste. Nothing disturbing flavours. But otherwise not very interesting.
