Bottled. Another fantastic beer from this creative brewery. To make a beer this bold in Iceland is trully remarkable. Dark orange with a huge head. Hoppy aroma, and very hoppy considering the style. Loads of citrus, fruits, oranges from the hops. Nicely balanced. Maybe near perfect session beer? NICE!

Oct 4, 2009 (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2009) Cloudy amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit and sourish notes of wheat. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots and slightly tart wheat notes. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Some citrussy bitterness in the finish. A bit different, an Icelandic take on the style I suppose. Nice one.

Sep 12, 2009 With its sweet pooring impression the head drags you in and keeps you focused on that dark copperish tending to red head that leads thoughts to the firce fires underneath iceland. but the sweetness takes you over and then the alcohol consumes you bit by bit and you let it all go and surender yourself to the icelandic easter feeling and become one with the beer :=))) ... too much ??? nahh fog you .. this is the feeling ... dig into it and become enthralled 4ever !!!

Jul 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty light floral hoppy aroma. Malty dry bitter hoppy flavor with some earthy hints and hints of caramel. Has a dry malty hoppy finish with hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

Light light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090320]

Jun 7, 2009 Amber coloured and clear. Has an off-white head, fully lasting. Aroma has a good hoppy aroma, america-style. The same goes for the flavor, good bitter finish. Dry, bitter finish.
