| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 On tap at the brewery as Highway Hefeweizen (note, I think they recently renamed some of their beers: blonde, pale ale, and hefeweizen to more nondescript local themed ones, such as "Highway", "Peak", and "Route 66". Anyway, this pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet malted wheat and some noble hops. Starts mildly sweet with a touch of light fruits and some grassy hops before a clean bittersweet finish. A decent American wheat. Dogbrick (2905), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 13, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a cloudy yellow-orange color with a minimal white head that does not last. Nil lacing is evident. Aroma of fruit and wheat. Light, clean body with flavors of sweet fruit, wheat and a touch of hops. The finish is fruity with a short citrus and wheat aftertaste. Barely average overall. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2008 On tap at brewery, 02/04/08. Cloudy peach colored brew. Almost no head or aroma. Wheat flavor with metallic tinge. Grainy, sweet finish with some kind of citrus (orange or lemon) note. No hop character. A little parching. Despite this description, I found it not very complex or compelling, though not obviously flawed. jcwattsrugger (5578), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Wheaty aromas with a crisp wheat flavor with a slight twang on the finish. I didn’t think it was too bad. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 24, 2006 A below average American Style wheat beer. There is not much to this brew. It is extremely wheaty, both in the nose and on the palate, but there is not much else going on here except maybe a slight lactative quality that would pair well with spicy foods. While most other American Style Weisbeers have some sort of a bitey characteristic, this one doesnt.
I purchased a growler after coaching soccer in the 100 degree heat with the idea that it would be a thirst quenching brew. To my dismay, it did not even do that. This place has better.
