12 oz bottle from Thiesti, who hasn’t rated this! Nose is fruity with caramel malt and yeast. Hazy copper with a medium cream colored head. Flavor is light, cidery apples and caramel. Pretty good Irish ale!

Draft at Weston. Pours an amber orange body with an off white head. Malty body with some lighter earth tones. Really bland with some biscuit and bread y grain notes. Mildly sweet. Bland.

12oz bottle from Lukas in KC. Pours a mostly clear, amber-orange body with a finger-width, fizzy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is grainy, caramels, and funky apples. Flavor is bad. There’s a biscuity caramel malt along with a light earthy bitterness, but a funky, slightly sour apple flavor is everpresent. Finishes dry with a light sour, bready caramel, low amount of earthy bitterness that lingers for a short duration. Light to medium bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Overall, this is either poorly made in general or poorly packaged. Hell, it could be both. This is sub-par.

Pours amber colour with thin head. Aroma is dusty malt, caramel and biscuity. Flavour is biscuity malt, some light fruit and toffee tones, light bitterness in the finish.

Only on tap at the brewery right now, but soon to be available in package. Traditional English Ale flavor with slightly sweeter malt flavor.

On tap again at the bar in Feb. of 2009. A decent amber type ale. O’Malley’s is improving. On tap at O’Malley’s during the Irish Festival in 2008. The body was deep copper with a very light possibly khaki head. The aroma was caramel with some strong grainy notes. There was also some brown bread. The taste was bread crust and iced tea with some toffee. A dry finish. Pretty good for this brewer.
