Commercial Description:
O'Malley's SunRye’s Ale is the perfect beer drinker’s summer brew. Not a watered down seasonal substitute, SunRye’s offers a complex combination of the ruddy malts and gives the smoothest finish yet. It’s about time summer had a real beer.

Very soft taste. Nothing really jumps out in the flavour of this beer... very calm beverage. Maybe thats why it is a summer beer... nice and relaxing. The pour is beautiful. Wonderful clear amber color with a nice creamy head that clears away quickly. I’d like to try this on tap. Maybe a trip to Weston next summer is in order.

12oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, bright reddish body with a pink tint to it. Thin, fizzy, pinkish-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty with a fruity, light rye spice. Flavor is thin and sweet up front with some grainy malts and a light rye, citrus spicing throughout. Finishes with a rye spice, sweet and fruity malt that lingers for a moderate length. Light bodied and smooth although somewhat watery and thin. Overall, the rye is basically the only thing keeping this interesting. Its smooth and sweet, but thin and plain. Fairly boring for the most part.

There is an odd, rotting orange peel aroma. Copper color. Flavor has light malt and grain, and just a little citrus again with some yeast. Well carbonated. Flavor is better than the aroma, and it drinks pretty good with a smooth palate. It might be better classified as a bitter.

This seasonal is much better than last year. Amber in color with noticeable rye in the malt bill. Fairly light on hops but plenty dry.

Light brown color with small off white head. Nose of citrus and rye. Roasted malt, lemon and rye bread. Moderate body and finsh seems a little harsh and unbalanced. Overall too lemony for me.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow color. Great summer beer. Very smooth. Aroma is wheat and citrus. Tastes almost too citrusy. Nice crisp light beer though

12 oz bottle. Pours an amber/brown with a small off white head. The aroma is some rye and some malt in the aroma. The palate holds some rye and kind of a lemon bitterness like they added lemon juice to it. Not a bad summer beer for those that like wheat beers with lemon in it. Would not agree with the "perfect beer drinker’s summer brew" line though.
