Commercial Description:
Deep burgundy color with a big, fluffy head. Complex fruit aromas with a layered sweetness (honey, then caramel, then toffee) with a hint of licorice and chocolate. A big, rich, abbey-style ale that dries out nicely on the finish.

Bottle, pours a deep dark brown that is red tinted, a little light escapes through this, head is thick and slightly dark hued. has a unique banana pudding aroma, i’ve never experienced anything with an aroma like this. taste is malty with assorted fruit earthy hints. leaves a caramel finish that is enjoyable. there is also a wheaty taste hidden in this. i need a few more to really figure this beer out. but i like it.

Corked and caged 750. Brown-orange pour with a big foamy beige head. Sweet, yeasty malt nose, somewhat fruity. Caramel and brown sugar notes. Lightly sweet fruit and spice flavors transition to a peppercorn dry finish.

Pours a purplish/brownish (almos mauve) with a heavy haze and a quick but huge tan head. Last dregs of the bottle give the brew a septic look. Doppelesque aromas with rich malts, light sweat & alcohol with a spiciness that is invasive upon the sinus cavity. A fluffy, explosive mouth carries raisin and caramel to a sour, dirty finish.

Very fruity, malty aroma, cherry, spices. Nice head that is decently lasting, nice ruby coloration. Nice complex fruits, pretty smooth, pretty good.

Dark burgundy with a very short-lived fizzy tan head. The aroma is very sweet at first, caramel and chocolate, then some toffee. The flavor is a nice caramel and toffe combo. There is some dark fruit action going on also, plums maybe. The finish is dry and lively. The body is medium full. I really like this beer. I started drinking this stuff eons ago and have just now gotten around to rating it. I think that I enjoy it more now than I used to. Yum.

Pours a deep dark brown brew with red hues (when held up to light). Aroma: Fruity/ripe fruit. The head is thick and tan. The flavor is complex, very Belgian, yeast, alcohol, earthy/funky. The finish is where you see most of the alcohol.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours brown with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, spices, and fruit. Flavor is smooth, citrus, and maybe a little over carbonated.
