I smelled raisins, malt, coffee beans and some carmel. The taste was very complex with a definite layering effect on the palate. I tasted some sweetness up front, with fruity notes coming through, the middle was very malty with some coffee and carmel and the finish was very clean with the alcohol coming into play. Very nice strong ale. FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA

Medium to full bodied. A smooth, balanced palate. Aromas of dried fruit, malts, and light chocolate and sweet flavor that gets better with every sip. adavis234 (134), Columbia, South Carolina, USA

Fruity sweet aroma, almost like plums. Spicy, dry fruit flavor with some plum and cherry notes. I don’t know much about Dubbels, but this is one delicious brew. tarjei (1754), Bryne, Norway
