| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 1, 2009 Sampled at a tasting. Aroma is very different. It is sweet and sour with notes sweet fruit, maybe white grades coming out. The flavor was sour and different. Malts and grapes really stand out in the tart finish. I may have to try this again. Nose is a touch funky and sweet, fruity. Spicy as well, actually pretty bold for a BdG. Taste is nice and sweet with a tart kick. Lots of grainy malts coming through. A nice beer to sit on the back porch with. Good. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle (750ml) -- courtesy of rudolf. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a large lasting fluffy off-white head -- looking good. Nice, yet mild aroma is floral, herbal, yeasty and spicy along with some citrus, funk and more. Tasty and refreshing flavour is sweet and spicy along with some light yeasty funk, citrus tartness and a light earthy bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Very good, it really hits the spot and like I said before, is quite refreshing. carruthm (1136), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 27, 2009 On tap @ Deluxe. Poured a nice copper color with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was quite muted, some simple malts detectable. Passed it around the table and all had the same reaction, just very little flavor. History on this beer says otherwise, so maybe a bad pour. blklab2007 (964), Connecticut, USA
