Jul 7, 2009 75ml. Batch #2, October, 2008. Large, frothy, off-white head that slowly diminishes. Hazy medium amber body with some large floaters. Brett aromas dominate the nose — lacquer, band-aid, barnyard, cobweb. Less noticable are notes of tea, clove and herbs. Hints of floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter with some tartness. Medium body with lively carbonation and a watery texture. Fairly straightforward beer. Good.

Jul 5, 2009 Bottle shared with the guys at the Barrios’ 500th Swallow Tasting. Semi-hazy orange red pour with minimal ring of whitish head. Nose of citrus. Flavor of clove, honey, and oranges. Effervescent mouthfeel. This will take the enamel off your teeth. Good beer and good palate cleanser.

Jul 3, 2009 750 ml bottle from mcbackus! Nose is very fruity funk, with pluots and tartness dominating along with carmelly sweetness. Hazy orange with a medium offwhite head. Flavor is moderate funky tartness, spiciness, and fruitiness. Finish with some light tart funkiness.
