Commercial Description:
Ommegang Biere de Mars is a fine Belgian-style amber ale with a bit of magical space dust woven in: Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, a wild yeast which imparts added tartness, extra zing, and a touch of funk - while dry hopping enhances the hop aroma.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and fruit, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Miver. Hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of fruit, a little coriander and some yeast. Medium body, sweetish fruit, light notes of yeast and phenols. Finishes dry. If there’s any Brett in this it’s hardly detectable. 010509

Bottle #21 at Papsø’s blindtasting. Hazy amber coloured with a small white head. Aroma of celery, coriander, citrus, rubber and yeast. Flavour of celery, rubber and coriander with notes of citrus and hops. Citric and hoppy finish. Disgusting due to too much coriander.
