Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

750ml bottle. Pours a pure golden body with just a slight haze. Foamy, white, two-finger width head that dissipates slowly and leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is quite nice. Lots of soft spices and just the right amount of sweeter malts to keep this rounded. Some floral hops, citrus, banana, wheat, and a nice yeast. Flavor is well rounded and very well balanced as well. Starts with some wheat before some honey and the soft spicing quickly comes in. A mixture of fruits in the middle before a coriander, floral citrus hop, yeasty banana, somewhat tart wheat finish. Dry with a spicy, lemon-banana, and soft wheat lingering taste. Light bodied and smooth before a touch of carbonation on the backend. Overall, a very nice saison. Lots of florals and vibrant flavors (which I prefer in a saison) while staying soft and well rounded. Good one.

On tap at flying saucer. Has a cloudy orange yellow with a frothy white head that leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet fruit with a lingering pinot. Medium mouthfeel with a dry fruit taste. Easy to drink while hiding the alcohol well. A very good saison from hennepin.

Appears bright golden with an enticing smell of orange slices, lemon and coriander. Has a great balance of hoppiness and a complexity of juicy sweet flavors. Some spiciness is noted as well. This is an excellent representation of a Saison and keeps me craving for more.

750ml. Spicy hop aroma with a light brett scent. Golden/yellow with a pure white fluffy head. Sour flavor with a bitter and sweet balance. Light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a slightly dry finish. This is a great refreshing beer that hides the abv very well.

bottle. Hennepin is a very nice, somewhat hoppy and very citrusy Saison... very drinkable and quite good. pours a bright golden color with a good size white head. tons of citrus on the nose along with some lingering spice and yeast. light to medium body with some nice bitterness up front, similar in degree to a pale ale, with more citrus notes across the top of the tongue. Big crisp finish with a touch of sour lemon and more bitterness. A very nice Saison to break out....

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a large foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, sweet malts. Flavor is a touch of spice mixed in with sweet malts, banana, wheat notes. Saison is not my favorite style, but this one is not bad.
