Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Tasty Saison, cloudy golden pour with pillowy white head, spicy carbonation - lots of little bubbles. A bit tart as a Saison should be, easy to drink despite it being 7.7% abv.

Introduced a friend to this American Brewer. Hazy Honey color, good level of carbonation, little head served in its own glass from the tap at SharpEdge. Smooth, full flavor but not too spicey

Bottle. Very pale pour with a big white head. Has a spicy citrus aroma with some other fruit essences. Has a tart crisp fruity flavor, like citrus and grapes. Noticeable pleasant hop taste in the finish. Pretty good.

A beautiful pale golden color with a thick frothy white head that starts at about 3 fingers but settles to 1. The aroma is sweet, fruity, and yeasty. Toffee, sour apple, pear, peach, coriander, mild alcohol iin the nose. The flavor is a smooth fruit, with apples, citrus, and possibly even some bitter cherry. The spicy yeast in this is outstanding. Very well carbonated, but not over the top. Gives it a nice creamy mouthfeel. The alcohol in this is noticeable, but just to pops in to say hello in the finish. A slight bitter left in the mouth.

Tap pour.Poured a very light blond color with a nice big white fluffy head, it says drink me, NOW! It had a spicy belgian maybe wheaty nose.Flavors followed the nose. Spicey with some nice hop notes, saison is not my fave, but I did enjoy this.Finish was dryish with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy yellow color with lots of fluffy head. The aroma was of wheat, yeast, spice and light hops. The flavor was smooth, fruity, hints of orange and coriander, yeasty, light hops. Overall, very well balanced and smooth drinking.

Bottle. Aroma of wheat, grass, hay, earth, mustiness. Flavor of playful bittering hops, mildly grainy wheat, some mustiness/funk. Notes of citrus, citrus peel, and other spices often present in this brew were buried in the background (old bottle?), but the result was still stellar. A beautifully constructed classic.
