Poured a pilsener-like light golden color with a huge white head. Quite vibrant. Mouthfeel is quite thin with pearly carbonation. What came through to me were two flavors: coriander/spices and a champagne-like fruity sweetness. Overall, quite interesting, but not a beer I would go back to often because of the carbonation, light palate, and sweetness. Maybe it’s the style. Nephilium (558), Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Slightly sweet yeasty aroma. Touch of candi sugar noticeable. Pours a clear light straw, with a huge fluffy white head. Nice crisp flavor, bit of tartness in the back of the mouth. Carbonation is very noticeable. Not bad, especially for the price. santos999 (318), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 24, 2008 Thanks to dpjuart for sharing. Clear gold body with a rich, frothy white head. Floral, perfumy aroma with some farm, bread, citric and wort notes. The taste is fun, light, and crisp, with some bread and floral, almost dandelion notes. Easy, smooth, quaffable, and delicious. Finishes dry and crisp with tons of bubblegum SamGamgee (1467), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2008 75cl bottle. Hazy gold/orange with a big white head. Big orange, clove, cinnamon, and ginger aroma. A little sweet and malty, not in an absolute sense but certainly compared with something like Dupont. Has some citrus tang and spice in the finish, though not nearly as expressive in the spice as the aroma is. The palate has a drying feel, but in a weird cotton-like way. Ample but looser carbonation. I like it, but it’s not quite up to the best saisons that I’ve had. I would definitely like it a tad dryer. The weird cotton taste/palate that crept in almost feels like it could be a little oxidation, and I’ll definitely be picking up another bottle soon to find out. larryLSB (165), La Selva Beach, California, USA
