Jun 16, 2008 bomber. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow or straw color with a white head. Smell was funky barnyard with grass, lemon and yeast. Taste was of lemon and spice. Mouthfeel was medium with carbonation and tart.

Jun 15, 2008 Pours a deep golden with a whtoe head that disappears fairly quickly. Aromas of orange, mango, and dry grass. Starts out crisp and dry, but finishes with a subtle sweetness. Sweeter than Saison Dupont.

Jun 15, 2008 Pours a hazy golden color with a lot of bright white head. Mild aroma, though a bit skunky. Bittersweet flavor with a lot of spice; coriander, clove, hint of apricot. Yeasty good stuff.

Jun 14, 2008 As with any beer I’ve rated on this site, this was another top notch contender. Citrusy/spicey aroma with a hint of alcohol smell. Pours as close to gold as I imagine you can without actually pouring the metal and a foamy white head. Taste was full and improved with warmth. Carbonation was a bit much sometimes but I truly cannot complain. Poor slow though BTW, it gets head QUICK.

Jun 11, 2008 Clear straw color with a frothy head. Nice spicy black pepper aroma with dusty malts. Light/medium body and smooth. Good taste is dusty pale malts with salty spices and black pepper. Dries out nicely in the finish. Very good American Saison.

Jun 7, 2008 750ml bottle. Hazy golden orange pour with light bubbly gauzy white head. Dough and citrus and hops on the nose. More yeasty doughiness on the palate with orange and lemon notes and a bit of spice. Hoppy, and not quite as saison-like as expected. A bit sharp and tangy where I wanted it to be more sour. Solid, though.

Jun 6, 2008 What a delightful ale to have with dinner. Fluffy white, thick head. Straw color. A nice ring of lacing with each draw of the Saisons’ nectar. Sweet banana and that distinct belgian yeast aroma. Outstanding!
