Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Light yellow color with white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet with spicy hops. Flavor is more of the aroma, with a somewhat funky finish. Overall very nice.

The appearance is golden yellow with a hazy body. A wonderful three finger head builds from lively carbonation. The head slowly fades back leaving nice lacing on the glass. Its aroma is fruity and floral, citrus and spice and every thing nice. The flavor of light malts, citrus and clove hits you first. Then earthy yeast and complementary citrus and floral hops leads you to a sweet and sour finish. Well balanced, medium body and very refreshing. Very well done, this one has turned me on to this style of beer.

Golden yellow w/ nice eggshell head yield smells of bread, floral, sweet. Tastes well balanced, smooth with subtle spliciness. Clean finish, good brew

Large bottle - Hazy gold pour with citrus hops aroma and white foam head. Carbonation similar to a sparkling wine. Yeast and some spice mix with hops to give a tingle on the tongue. Fruit notes but ultimately not really a favorite style of mine.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma is ripe fruit, with notes of peach and yeast. Medium body. Flavor has more of a tart fruit character, with notes of peach and apricot, as well as yeast, bread dough and caramel.

This one poured a golden orange color with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is of sweet oranges, citrus fruits, and spices. The taste is much the same with the orange and citrus fruit sweetness coming through, but balanced out nicely with the spices. It is medium bodied with a good carbonated mouthfeel that finished with a spicy citrus flavor. This had a good flavor, and is very drinkable and really enjoyable.

It’s yellow colored, thick foamy white head and sour. Very yeasty and really quite sour. Also has some sweet citrus flavor in there and a touch of hops. Abv is noticed. I’ll have to get this again and re-rate it.
