The appearance is a good copper color, the flavor is incredible which will turn your palate upside down, overall fantastic, you won’t mind paying the $12 a bottle or up to $28 at some restaurants. satan165 (616), River Grove, Illinois, USA

Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Very fruity, sweetish, slightly hayish and papery hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruit sugar flavor, alcoholic, some pepperness. This is American style saison - too sweet for my liking. oh6gdx (9109), Vasa, Finland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, alcohol and some spices. Flavour is very much the same, with the alcohol giving a really sweet sting. Also some toffeeish notes. Strange. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Quite spicy, with citrus and malt flavors that sort of remind me of an octoberfest. I think it was a good introduction to this style. esjaygee (1587), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Cloudy yellow with a large white slowly diminishing head. Aroma was mildly sour with yeast, spice and citrus. Sweet lemon & yeast tasting with a light citric hop finish. Decent but not terribly exiting. jrt (62), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 30, 2008 OK for a saison. Spicy, yes, but kind of crudely so. Also there is a cloying banana flavor. The mouthfeel, which I can only describe as articulate, is a positive. While this is beter than a good many American versions of the "Saison" style, it can’t approach Dupont, Pipaix, or Fantome. It’s just not as complex or satisfying.
