Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

on tap at Cole’s. Clear light ochre colour with slight head and lacing. Slight funk in the aroma, but not in flavour. Refeeshing, fruit and floral flavour. Nice aftertaste

Rich golden-orange with a soft white head. Aroma of banana, lemon and yeast. Taste is fruity sub acid effervescence, banana bread, yeasty, undertones of pepper-spice with a smooth finish that entices you for more. Incredibly drinkable, palatable and versatile for a late summer beer.

Poured from a 750 mL bottle into tulip. this particular time, we added a slice of orange to the glass, which really enhanced the citrus flavors fo the beer. It is cloudy orange in color, light head. Flavor is light and refreshing, one of my favorites on a summer evening. As in the aroma, citrus notes in the taste too. Very good for the price and availability.

Pours a cloudy light white yellow color with big white frothy head. Aroma is doughy with a bit of lemon and spice. Flavor is light and crisp, lots of doughy yeastiness as well as the typical banana and lemon notes. Overall, decent, but nothing original or special about it.

Slight lemon clove nose. Golden color and foamy head. Cotton candy bread slight funk, decent bitterness. Big carbonation, medium body, clovy long finish, great alcohol warmth peaking at the end. Great beer, hearty, but very delicate with sophisticated flavors.

Pours a nice straw yellow gold with medium white head, minimal lacing, but leaves a creamy ring around the edge of the glass and a decent few white speck floaties throughout. Aroma of yeast, stale bread, slight hops, and clove. Flavor matches well and makes for a nice refreshing saison, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is slightly slick and body is medium to thin.

Sample on Tap at FFF Brewpub. Pours boring yellow with minimal disappearing white head. Overall dry and crisp. Slightly hoppy, with typical belgian yeast flavor. Not my favorite of the day (that’s why I sampled :)
