Nose-dog food, muted, dog, cottony, light white spices, very good despite the oddness. Not a lot of funk, low hops, sticky, sweetens as it warms, perfect mix of dryness, fruit, and brett. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2009 A cloudy, golden beer with a bright, effervescent head. Smells strongly of coriander, ginger and leather. It suggests an intensely spiced, sour beer. The aroma is so potent it clears the nostrils, an effect not unlike breathing in steam off of hot tea. The Brett yeast is very pronounced, almost undesirably so. Some sweetness comes through suggesting the strength of this beer. Earthy, spicy hop undertone with a moderately dry finish. Tart with a hint of bitterness but not sour. A very interesting and unsual beer. AR (436), Georgia, USA
