| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a whiskey snifter. The beer pours a light amber color, crystal clear with a white head. The aroma is hard to pin down. It is unmistakably Belgian and full of esters, but there isn’t one that sticks out in particular. Perhaps orange marmalade? Hints of malt come through as the sample warms, along with a very light touch of earthy hops. The palate brings a bready note up front, followed by some esters, and a nicely dry finish. A really nice, if restrained, Belgian ale. Pipper (264), Ohio, USA

Pours a semi-cloudy orangey with steady carbonation, quickly disappating off white head. Fruity and very boozy aroma. The aroma is much stronger than the flavor which is flat and smooth. Sweet and bearable but not so hot for me. Way overpriced at $12.99. Rustyham (598), miami, Florida, USA

Thick, like a sweeter version of Delirium Nocturnum with a lot more cinnamon. Total Wine and More Ft. Lauderdale. MereLikesBeer (158), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA

Anyhoo...my second Ommegang, and nothing bad about it. It poured a nice hazy orangy color with a nice thick off white head. It smelled very yeasty - like a bread shop. Tastes amazing!!! I love how fruity it is! It is really carbonated, and super fruity, leaving a juicy sensation in my mouth. A bit of an odd aftertaste, but not enough to put me off too it. Yay for Ommegang! | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Shared this with MereLikesBeer. Poured a hazy dark orange with small offwhite head. This stuff was great, maybe not as good as the abbey ale. I do like the mildness of this beer, I could totally drink this with a hearty meal, or even a dessert. Very good brew. Cheers!
