ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark May 11, 2008 Slightly cloudy light amber beer with a medium sized bubbly head. Quite weak aroma, tangerine, lemon, coriander and a touch of nutmeg. Sweet clean flavour with malt and citrus. Unspectacular but a very pleasant drinker.
Guinness4Duff (422), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Light amber pour with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, a little fruity and typical belgian. Has a strong fruity/alcoholic/bananaeee flavor. This is a good Belgian beer. dpbhoosier (48), USA Jul 17, 2008 Bottle. Thick head. Medium bodied. Nice balance of malt and Belgian yeast and spice. The aroma was of yeast and some fruit. The flavor was smooth, delicious, sugar, yeast, and some hints of orange. Overall, Excellent beer...a favorite. ajm (262), USA Jul 13, 2008 I thought this was great - bottle from Morry’s of Naples. Really full amber body: tart brown sugar, dark (but not overripe) fruit, hops are surely present and balanced well. Very nice Belgian specemin.
