Poured a ruddy, red/amber color with a two finger tan/off white head. The aroma was very sour, with cherries being the main note. The flavor was tart, with a mild balancing sweetness and notes of cherries, oak and green apples. This was a solid brew, with a very dry finish and a light/medium body. This was amazing. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2009 a different type of brew indeed it is sour with an aroma and taste of fruit. it is effervescent and attractively so as it reveals its flavors of cherry and green apple in wood. a bit more than a bit tart and a touch chalky it is acrid like quite demonstrative and an interesting beverage as it has balanced sweetness and is somewhat refreshing. I am also thankful for the growler brought in to me. radiomgb (1992), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 26, 2009 Deep cherry in colour with a thin lightly pink head, very light lacing. The aroma is tart and acidic, very lambic like, noticeable cherries, good sweetness. The flavour is lightly sweet, incredibly dry with a good amount of tart and acidic cherries, some oak. Acidic mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, very acidic and very dry.
Pretty damn good stuff, very acidic throughout and quite dry in the finish. The sweetness comes through at times but for the most part this is just sour. Excellent.
Growler obtained in a trade with TheEpeeist, thanks for sending this as an extra Chris.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Draft - deep reddish brown pour. Quite acidic and very sour. Hints of cherries and oak in the flavor. Sipping beer that seemed to get better and better as you got to the bottom of the glass. Tartness takes a while to adjust to, as well as the acidity. Very enjoyable. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma of sour cherries. Medium bodied. Flavor of dark malts, sour cherry, and oak. This has the right amount of acetic and lactic flavors on the finish. Lingering acidity but not overdone. Nice balance on this one. Great beer. Beardface (1001), Eugene, Oregon, USA
