Cherries and apple cider - a wonderful tartness counters a very pleasant sweet undertone - this is like the Duchesse, but with a stronger tart presence. Cherry tart with a tinge of vinegar in the aroma. Lightly tangy with balsamic notes and lemon. Had again at Rattle N Hum tonight, nice Flemish cherry character and a light oak accent. Funky and sour with some tart cherry, barnyard, some light oak. Taste has tart cherry and some straight up sourness, balsamic vinegar, a touch of sweet malt, Moderately funky and mildly oaky. Finishes with lingering tartness and a touch of vinegar. very nice.
