Thanks SoLan! Pours a reddish brown color with just a trace of foam floating on top. Taste is like sour candy. Very sweet, very sour and low on the acidity. Sour cherries are predominant. A very good, and very easy drinking, sour beer.

Growler, courtesy SoLan. The pour yields a clear, crimson colored body with a wispy, beige colored film at the head. Minimal, micro-spot lacing marks the glass. The aroma is really nice, showing ultra-sour cherries, tannic fruit skins, oaky vanilla, and an intense ascorbic acidity. Flavors continue this theme, sharp and citric, with abundant sour cherries and soothing, toasty, vanilla laden oak. Hints of quality Balsamic vinegar shine through as well. Medium bodied and well carbonated, the mouthfeel is semi-dry and puckering, just how I like it. This is very much in the Rodenbach mold, but more sour and perhaps even better integrated with the oak. Excellent, highly drinkable Flemish sour.

Growler courtesy Solan. Deep burnt red color, no head and light carbonation. Really nice sour cherry and doughy sour nose. Really nicely taart with a bit of acetic acid and cherries. Finish is easy and semi-dry. Nicely swett and rounded on the whole.

draft at coles- delicious- nice tart vinegar aroma, with an extremely drinkable sour cherry/oak/wood flavor that hits you hard at first, but then simply complements the well made beer in the finish. Wow.

Draft at Malt & Vine. Doug gets no points for forgetting to mention this when I was in yesterday. Heh.
Pours a deep cloudy, swirling, and opaque ruddied bright amber. Thick, moussy tan head. Gorgeous. Big tart, semi-lactic nose. A little bit of strawberry/balsamic happening, but ultimately it’s ten pounds of pucker in a five pound bag. Delicious, but not a lot of complexity, surprisingly.
Body comes on strong, creamy and a little on the high side of medium. The tart lactic kick opens ’er up, with the kissing cousin notes of strawberry and balsamic riding herd behind it. Then...not much else. The body stays strong all the way through, but, without a doubt, this beer is a showcase for that tart lacto blast. It’s fantastic, beautifully modulated, but falls well shy of being an absolute classic because it’s really just that one thing going on.
Still, what a thing to have going on. I could drink this all night.

Fluffy medium head (couldn’t see color; dark bar). Mild cherry aroma. Tastes of wonderful funky fruit with some oak. Not overly tart, and really hits the spot. Light sweetness. Finishes smooth. Freaking lovely.

One of the two finest sour beers I’ve ever had the delight to sample (at Redmond, Wa.’s Malt and Vine. Wonderfully tart aroma of barnyard, funk, horseblanket, and wood. Not overpowering, but rather almost seductive, which is no mean feat for a such an assertive sour to pull off. The only reason I deducted a single point was because it could have been just that slightest bit more ’’room filling’’. The flavor contained all of the above elements, and the Brett really shone in this beauty, but there also a number of fruity undertones, from strawberry to apricot, that kept appearing, and fading, which contributed to craving another sip.The finish was nearly endlessly sour, but finally, it was beautifully dry, and that also contributed to a desire for more. My companions and I went through three glasses there, and then brought a growler to go, with the intent of drinking it a couple of days hence, but it was so compelling that we ended up nearly polishing it off in the evening. I love serious sours, but I’m usually sated after a couple, especially if they are really mouth puckering, but in this caseI was happy to make an exception.

Draft @ TacoMac, JohnsCreek. pours a reddish-brown color. Light tan, creamy head. Aroma of sweet balsamic. Acidic and vinegar, sour cherries. Amazing sour flavor. Nice and tart. Sweet like fresh tart cherry juice. Very good. Not overly acidic, just enough for the perfect flavoring. Hints of oak linger in the finish. Absolutely spectacular.
