| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Unclear deep red. Quite sour cherry flavor similar to Rodenbach Grand Cru. After that this is my favorite flemish sour, and a pretty big drop off after this. Very tasty, exquisite sourness, and would be very sessionable if Ommegang would make more of this. keepersj12 (810), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 31, 2009 On tap at Max’s on Broadway in Baltimore. Murky red pour with a big off white head. Aroma is sour cherry, malt, yeast, funk. a little bit spicy, a little bit sweet, very complex nose. Flavor is almost overwhelmingly sour at the first sip, but really shows of complexity and depth as you get deeper into the beer. A lot of wood, malt, dark fruit, and yeast all blanketed by one of the nicest sour kicks I’ve had ina beer. This is fantastic. Craybees (17), New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2009 On draught at the Lazy Boy Saloon. Oaky and extremely sour with a yeasty cherry nose. As sours go, I’m sure this is top notch. The style, however, is such that I couldn’t drink more than a pint. Lagunitasfan (458), San Diego, California, USA
