Pours a hazy dark brownish amber with a creamy two-finger head that shows very good retention and lacing. The aroma is very sweet with candy sugar and caramel malts dominating. There are generous amounts of dark fruits as well, raisins and the like. The taste is as sweet as the aroma suggests, tons of caramelized sugar, dark fruits and caramel malts. Cherries are in there as well, with a hint of sourness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of carbonation. It may be just a tad thin. This is a decent example of a quad despite not being extremely complex. Very drinkable.

Crushed with Jakebra. Cherries on the nose. Flavor, like burnt wood and some awesomeness. Pretty damn enjoyable. Definitely smells better than it tastes, but that smell is beautiful.

75cl corked bottle from 2007. Let this sit about 18 months before opening. Very easy to drink quad overall. Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights and a tan head that settles quickly. Aroma of candied fruit, oak and sherry. Big flavour that had more fruit notes plus a little yeast.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of cherries, alcohol, grains, malts, and caramel. Poured deep amber with a hint of ruby in color and a large tan head that diminished into a thick film that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of alcohol, cherries, malts, wood, dark ripe fruits, light tar, and slight chocolate. Medium body. Slightly tingly, smooth texture. Average to lively carbonation. Dry, woody, cherry-sweet finish.

Pours dark brown with a fresh fruit aroma, mainly bananas and cherries. Smooth and refreshing taste with a nice cherry backdrop and an alcoholic finish. Solid effort and the booze is well masked.

Bomber 2008: pours dark red/brown with tan head. Aroma: sherry wine with brandy-esque and liqueur notes. This beer started out sharp, dry and with a cherry tartness. Also with a noticeable alcohol taste. It got smoother although still dry, with a slight cherry aftertaste as it cooled. I was hoping for more of a cherry and sweet taste after reading the description on the bottle. But this is quality nevertheless. I bet this taste awesome after being aged longer.

Pours a deep, murky light-brown. Aroma has subtle hints of fruit, mainly cherries and bananas, with some sweet bready undertones. Big Quadrupel taste, although not as complex as some. Flavor is dried dark fruits, a touch of cherry and nuts at first with a lot of banana and yeast on the finish. Maybe slight hints of caramel. Certainly a tasty beverage, but I’ve yet to have a Quad touch the Roc 10. Still waiting for that elusive Westy 12.

Decent lightly fruity aroma. Appearance is dark brownish red and hazy. Flavor seems a bit yeasty. Medium-full mouthfeel. Not terrible. Had better.
