Aroma is sharp wheat, bitter orange, earthy, yeasty, and a bit tart. Very light color with a small, but persistent head. Initial mouthfeel is both soft and tart with citrus flavors (lemon, orange) and a nice wheatiness followed by the earthy/citrusy coriander flavor. The finish is moderately tart with some lingering earthy/citrus notes. A nice witbier, quite subtle and easy drinking. biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Caged and corked, this pours a prototypical witbier, hazy, light color of a wavy field of barley, with a firm white foamy head. The aroma is musty and musky, with a spicy edge. Into the gullet, this drinks quite light. There’s the expected tartness and spice, but just before the finish there’s a flat grassiness here, too. Quite good. (#3056, 8/13/2007)
