Bottle. 750ml. Pours a lightly hazy golden color with small white head. Aroma is yeasty with a hint of citrus. Light in body with fine carbonation. Flavor is tart citrus, mostly lemon with only a hint of spiciness to it. Some spice lingers on in the finish though. Very nice.

Light grainy aroma. Cloudy pale golden color with a large head that quickly dissapates. Complex taste of light nuts, vanilla, and coriander. Sticky palate.

750ml bottle served in my NB snifter. Aroma is sharp wheat, bitter orange, earthy, yeasty, and a bit tart. Very light color with a small, but persistent head. Initial mouthfeel is both soft and tart with citrus flavors (lemon, orange) and a nice wheatiness followed by the earthy/citrusy coriander flavor. The finish is moderately tart with some lingering earthy/citrus notes. A nice witbier, quite subtle and easy drinking.

12 oz bottle poured into a wiezen glass. Pours straw yellow with a huge white fizzy head that stick around for the whoe beer eaving pretty good lacing. Looking through the glass it is hazzy. The aroma is at first yeasty followed by a fairly strong coriander aroma. Taking the first drink the body is light to medium, the initial flavor is a very slight coriander taste along with a hint of orange foowed by a spicy/yeasty flavor. After the beer is down there is a hint there is a hint of coriander and spicyness on the back of the tounge along with a orange aftertaste. In the flavor there is a nice wheaty/straw flavor to back everything up. The texture is watery and creamy with lively carbonation.

Pours cloudy yellow, light, fine head. Aroma is spicy with touches of orange, vanilla, and banana. Moderate mouth feel with a sweet yeasty flavor. Flavors are very similar to those in the nose. Pleasant, summer beer.

Caged and corked, this pours a prototypical witbier, hazy, light color of a wavy field of barley, with a firm white foamy head. The aroma is musty and musky, with a spicy edge. Into the gullet, this drinks quite light. There’s the expected tartness and spice, but just before the finish there’s a flat grassiness here, too. Quite good. (#3056, 8/13/2007)
