The aroma is musty and musky, with a spicy edge. Into the gullet, this drinks quite light. There’s the expected tartness and spice, but just before the finish there’s a flat grassiness here, too. Quite good. (#3056, 8/13/2007) gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy, very light straw color with a soft white head that sticks around for the whole glass. Good scent of bananas and grains. Tastes like it smells...bananas, oranges, a hint of lemon, and grains...all very nicely blended with a smooth finish. Great summer beer with enough substance to enjoy just sitting down and drinking. Aroma is yeast, malt, coriander, and citrus. Flavor is some bready, malty, citrus (orange and pineapple), coriander, and yeast. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Decent. Unbalanced a bit, and not as smooth as I would have liked. Aroman and appearance weren’t bad. Nice head, good lacing. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 5, 2007 Not too bad for a summer beer, I was happy because the citrus was not overpowering (like Hoegarden, nasty stuff) and it had a very clean finish.
