Caged and corked, this pours a prototypical witbier, hazy, light color of a wavy field of barley, with a firm white foamy head. The aroma is musty and musky, with a spicy edge. Into the gullet, this drinks quite light. There’s the expected tartness and spice, but just before the finish there’s a flat grassiness here, too. Quite good. (#3056, 8/13/2007)

Bottle. Cloudy, very light straw color with a soft white head that sticks around for the whole glass. Good scent of bananas and grains. Tastes like it smells...bananas, oranges, a hint of lemon, and grains...all very nicely blended with a smooth finish. Great summer beer with enough substance to enjoy just sitting down and drinking.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy straw gold with a dense white head. Aroma is yeast, malt, coriander, and citrus. Flavor is some bready, malty, citrus (orange and pineapple), coriander, and yeast. Less spicy than other wits, but very refreshing.

One of my favorite styles for the summer and this does not disappoint. I like mind ice cold and I drink it too fast but what can I say.

Pours a very hazy yellow with an inch thick white head. Smells of citrus wheat and spice. Taste is mostly wheat with hints of spice and smaller hints of citrus. Really enjoyed this! Perfect for the summer!

Decent. Unbalanced a bit, and not as smooth as I would have liked. Aroman and appearance weren’t bad. Nice head, good lacing.

Not too bad for a summer beer, I was happy because the citrus was not overpowering (like Hoegarden, nasty stuff) and it had a very clean finish.
