I like them, but the standard for me has always been Hoegaarden. To witte, this is still a good beer for summer. It has the similar characteristics of a witbier. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Hazy straw pour with a modest head. Aroma was avg. Wit yeast and wheat with faint citrus. Taste was the same with the citrus a bit more noticeable. Decent enough on a hot day tho it’s no Hoegarrden. milewide (625), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Cloudy straw with very good creamy head / Sour banana and clove nose / Medium body with spritzy carbonation for light mouthfeel / Mild, slightly watery, flavors of banana, butterscotch, and clove, with a light lemon finish. A nice summer session beer. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Very light blonde color. Cloudy. Nose of sweet dough, lemonade, and cloves. Tastes bright. A touch of garlic on sweet pears, with bananas soaking in rum. This bit is light. Tartness in a very restrained lemon juice burst. Though the construct isn’t much to look at, the design is solid. Palate is soft and sparkly. Pretty faultless, just a bit boring. Refreshing enough to pass. kkearn (1014), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Sampled many times, most recently at BCTC 07. Pours hazy yellow, with a moderate white head. Aroma is primarily yeast, with some citrus zest. Nicely balanced flavor with notes of yeast, orange, coriander and spice. Super refreshing. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2007 The 750ML bottle poured a slightly hazy (it is bottle conditioned, after all) golden yellow beverage with a small frothy white head that was lasted well and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was crisp and clean with notes of lemon and spices mingling. The body was medium-light with soft carbonation and a somewhat watery texture. The flavor started out lightly sour and stayed that way throughout the moderately long finish. There was just a hint of alcohol warmth at the very end.
