I really did not like the 750 mL version of the beer, how could the yeast influence the whole bottle? With the 12oz bottles the influence is a little more in effect but the yeast is the culpruit. Overall it does not work. Nephilium (558), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2007 This pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow with a huge head that quickly fades to just a thin cap. The aroma is mainly of wheat, just a hint of spice lurking in the background. The flavor is wheat, spice, and lemon peel. Overall, not bad, and very drinkable. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Corriander nose with some lemon and other citrus aromas...flowers too. Flavor is similar with a great refreshing mouthfeel. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Updated: Jun 14, 200712 oz bottle in pint glass. Pours somewhat dark, cloudy orange with nice, lasting white head. Very faint aroma of orange honey. Somewhat inappropriate caramel flavor, very round sweetness, minimum spiciness. Somewhat disappointing since I love Hennepin and was looking forward to this, which I can’t get in my own area. Medium-light body. Pretty good soft mouthfeel. I think the problem is that this beer is not fresh. I’m all for aging dark strong Belgian beers, but this ain’t one.
Re-rate. Got a fresh 750ml of this. An additional point for flavor and palate but still surprisingly unspectacular. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada
