Commercial Description:
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

Fizzy, citrusy white ale from Ommegang (whom I normally love!). This one is OK, but the flavors all seemed to be hiding somewhere (and I never found them). Just not what I expected from one of the best breweries in the US. Worth a try, though.

Gold hazy color – off white medium head –nose of yeast , sourdough bread, and spices - taste of acidic chardonnay , oakie , yeast, lemon peel , grapefruit , and green apple – medium champagne body – aftertaste some sour red fruit , raspberries , slightly bitter , and acidic

C&C 750. Pours a murky yellow, big white foamy head. Nose is yeasty, spicy (clove and coriander) with a zing of lemony cirtus. Excellent white lace. Bouncy mouthfeel, very lively, yet soft. Flavor is spicy as noted in the nose, some orange and lemon zest flavors on a solid wheaty base. Really enjoyable!

Light yellow murky body with a couple fingers of white head. Smells yeasty and spicy with some malt. Tastes very citrusy with some yeast and malt present. Light to medium body. Very tasty. Not as spicy as some witbiers, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. One of the better Wits I’ve had definitely. Ommegan has never dissappointed me before, and now is no exception.

The pour is underwhelming: hazy yellow with a white head that fades quickly and leaves no markings of its presence only minutes into the experience. Aroma is similarly so: a muddled mash of malt and citrus that doesn’t give much to be excited over. Taste is redeeming: classic orange and coriander, with some banana. Carbonation is substantial and gives the brew a nice quaff-ability. This is nothing sensational, but has a clean taste and is pleasant if not much else.

Pours cloudy like a white should. No real nose and little head. Flavors are better in the 750ml than the 12oz bottle. A good white, but I want Hoegaarden back, InBev!

Pours a very hazy yellow color, very cloudy... Little to no head. I smell a bit of orange and other citrus notes in this one. Tastes much like the smell suggests it would. A nice hint of orange and a small amount of spice round out this beer.

On tap-Refreshing citrus aspect. Lemon predominates with a suggestion of coriander. Simple, yet refreshing.
