Olney Beer & Fine Wine tasting. Pours a cloudy golden. Lemon and coriander on the nose. Tart at the forefront, before evening out to some citrus notes, orange at the edges. Very refreshing, nice-balanced white beer.

From the tap, pours a lot like the picture on the top of this page. Thick white head and a pale orange color. Smells typically like bananas and citrus, though more of an orange peel aroma than anything else. Tastes fully of orange citrus, light bananas, and some bubblegum. Really a good one here on a hot summer night.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a sizable bubbly white head. Aroma is very full of citrus notes (ornage, lemon), with a bit of spice and some yeastiness. Flavor is much the same. Crisp and refreshing.

Draft at Coles in Buffalo. Pours hazy golden yellow. Looks like a typical wit. Citrus and estery aroma. As far as wits go, much drier and less sweet in the initial flavor, but a nice wheat malt backbone. Very orange juice acidic type finish in flavor and texture. Well done, but personally...I Like my wits a little sweeter

I made the mistake of chasing a Rochefort Abt 10 with this brew. It just didn’t work for me. Obviously they are two totally different styles. But I had no business switching directly from one to the other. Further proof that I can only take a little belgian-ness at a time. Alas.

Draught. Hazy yellow color with bubbly white head that laced the glass. Yeasty, fruity and spicy with the usual orange and coriander. Also an unusual light bitter, grainy character. Pretty decent.

750 ml bottle into a Snifter glass. Pours a very hazy golden yellow with a medium sized healthy and frothy head. Aroma is wonderful notes of citrus, orange peel, and quite heavy on the coriander. Flavor is a lot of the same notes of the nose with orange peel near the front, and coriander near the back. At tiny hop note hites the roof of the mouth near the finish. Fairly carbonated. Definitely a worthy wit bier.

Bottle. Aroma: Coriander, citrus (more lemony than orange), slight banana and bubblegum. Appearance: Slightly hazy. Color is a very pale straw color. Head was white, thick and creamy but dissipated quickly into a small cap. Decent lacing. Very effervescent. Lots of bubbles floating up through the beer. Looked like champagne almost. Flavor: Spices and coriander, citrus (again seemed more lemony than orange), bananas and yeast, and then some slight wheat flavors. Flavors are very light. Palate: Light bodied. Lively carbonation. Finish was quick and crisp. Beer seemed awfully watery to me. Overall: A refreshing beer, but lacking in flavor and mouthfeel. Expected more from such a good brewery.
