Appearance: Slightly hazy. Color is a very pale straw color. Head was white, thick and creamy but dissipated quickly into a small cap. Decent lacing. Very effervescent. Lots of bubbles floating up through the beer. Looked like champagne almost. Flavor: Spices and coriander, citrus (again seemed more lemony than orange), bananas and yeast, and then some slight wheat flavors. Flavors are very light. Palate: Light bodied. Lively carbonation. Finish was quick and crisp. Beer seemed awfully watery to me. Overall: A refreshing beer, but lacking in flavor and mouthfeel. Expected more from such a good brewery. jason (1627), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Very nice aroma. Good scent of corriander and orange peel. Pours a decent head that thins out a little. Taste is mild with a nice balanced carbonation and crisp taste. Perfect for a summer evening. Cheers! bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Golden-yeasty straw pour with a big head and decent lacing. Citrus-hop and bubblegum aromas. Lemon flavors predominate with a small hop contingency... also wheat notes with some lemongrass. Medium citrus-hop bitter finish. This is definitely a brew for summertime, as it is a thirst quencher. It lacks a bit in complexity, but I did enjoy it quite much. thornecb (1813), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Pours bright yellow into a tumbler. Head quickly recedes and holds steady on the surface. Banana, clove, and lemon notes. Upfront dry wheat with orange flavors. Abrupt, dry finish. Slightly watery, but refreshing. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2006 750 ML corked finished bottle. Hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Good retention and carbonation. Aromas of orange, lemon, white wine, corriander and wheat. Taste is the same with the tartness being a bit overdone. Palate is not interesting but pleasant. Overall it is refreshing. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Pours hazy cloudy yellow with a white head that leaves quickly. Aroma has more lemon than orange and coriander. Taste is creamier than normal for a wit. Taste has orange, but more tart than normal - lemony. Light on the spice for a wit. Finish is tart and somehow a mixture of smooth, creamy, sour and tart. Some light pepper taste with the beer, but I’m not really catching the coriander as usual with wit. After warming a bit more of the orange comes out as well as some coriander. Nice unique interpretation of the style. eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Third wit of the day, and not a bad showing. The appearance was pale yellow with a large head (all carbonation) that laced ok, but not great. Would have looked nicer in my weizen glass, since the feature was the carbonated bubbles rising steadily to the top. The aroma was nice, yeast, coriander, and candi sugar most prominent. The flavor didn’t feature the sugar as much as the aroma hinted, but this was fairly average among the good wits, perhaps even a bit watered down in flavor and mouthfeel. A nice hop balance detectable. A nice showing from the US. GTown (126), New York, USA
