Bottle shared with HogTownHarry and tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy very pale yellow with a large semi-lasting white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, spices, apples and more fruit. Flavour of yeast, citrus, spices and hops. Medium bodied. Pretty good Witbier.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, my bottle. Poured cloudy pale yellow with an average white head - pretty much what a witbier should look like. Mildly spicy and fruity-sweet, gets a little sharply peppery on warming - pretty nice. Similar taste, a little lemon to balance the sweetness, still finishes somewhat sweet but definitely spicy - nice take! Mouthfeel is average body for a wit, lightly acidic, quick finishing ... I like it.

Pour is a clear yellow with a fluffly white head. Aroma is a very nice combo of citrus and wheat. Flavor is not as good as the aroma but i get lots of lemon bitterness with a touch of vanilla. Not the best of the style but there are pleasing aspects to this brew.

If someone held a gun to my head and demanded I drink this stuff, I’d pull off some wild karate moves, get the gun, point it at the guy and say "No worries. This is my favorite witbier" and then the credits would roll. This is a good summer time beer. Some people like lemons in it, but I’ll pass. Pungent of banana and nearly sweet on the tongue. A great example of the style.

Hazy yellow hue, with an off white head, the nose is yeasty, wheat and fruity notes of pineapple, citrus fruits and spicy coriander in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a zesty spicy coriander accent, citrus fruits flavors, oranges, grapefruits, with a wheaten character, leading towards a juicy citrusy and lingering acidic and faintly bittering hops finish.

Stored in my beer fridge for 4 months waiting for it to be hot enough to have. Opens this very pleasant wheat yesterday. Poured golden and very clear for a wheat. I had the first glass without a lemon wedge. You could taste the orange peel. Finished spicy and very smooth. Second glass with the lemon wedge. Beer reacted to the lemon by fizzing more then usual. Finishes with a citrus earthy taste. A good brew by Ommegang
