Iniviting pale golden hazy body with a big white head that sticks around. Spicy aroma of clove and coriander mixed with some citrusy lemon and sweet pineapple. Hint of floral hops and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly tart. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly to moderately tart. The spicy flavors and forward tartness continue into the aftertaste, nicely separated from the sweetness. Medium body with a watery texture and prickly carbonation. Clean and refreshing. bw1982 (77), , Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2009 Bottle. As a huge fan of everything Ommegang, I was pretty excited to try this one out. It pours a great hazy yellow gold with a great thick white head. The aromas include citrus and spice with yeast, but there was a definite skunky note, which was very offputting. The flavors are nice, typically Witte flavors, and the palate was very refreshing. If there hadn’t been the skunky note of the aroma this would be a much higher rating. beerfest5 (173), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nearly opaque hazy gold with a medium white head. Light orange and lemon with a touch of coriander and fruity wheat. Medium body, but a little lacking in the flavor department, coming up with weak wit flavors. Finishes light and crisp with a touch of wheat and yeast. craftbeerdesign (754), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

Aromas of citrus and maybe clove. Carbonation gives a creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is citrus and something nice, but not clove. Finishes clean and refreshing. Pretty much as advertised. yobdoog (1436), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Bottle and draft. Always a good choice in the summer. I prefer this one with no lemon. Nice spice, great wheaty body and flavor. FarFromHome (84), Philadelphia, Alabama, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Smells like citrus and, vaguely, coriander. Maybe cinnamon? Thick white head, cloudy brass color. First taste is orange peel; second is dilute soap. Mostly enjoyed it, but the soapy aftertaste really killed it for me. Feh.
