Commercial Description:
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

Bottled. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit - especially peaches, and wit yeast, as well as light notes of soap. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of wheat - a somewhat boring Wit.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, pale golden with a small and very white head. Slightly tart aroma of citrus with a whiff of yeast. Light and somewhat watery body with a vague touch of coriander. Lightly fusty touch. No real bitterness. 061006

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Dry, spiced and mild wheaty aroma. Mild oxidised aroma, yet with a mild coriander and light citric note to a mild wheaty base flavour. Dry and towards malty finish with a touch of spices.

Bottled at Järnet, Stockholm. Cloudy pale golden, small head. Light citric aroma. Medium sweet and light boided. Sevill orange marmelade mixes with vanila and coriander. Lightly yeasty otherwise fairly clean flavour profile. Still it feels alive and refreshing. A good example of the style.

Opaque yellow. Aroma of pale malts, marshmallows, a little bit of yeast. Fresh, slightly yeasty, slightly spicy palate. Soft body. Quick finish, with a hint of lemon. A little bit lighter than I prefer.

Draught at d.b.a., NYC
Hazy light yellow color. Light aroma of citrus and vanilla. Mellow flavor, with light wheat character and vanilla. Light beer, but not without interest.
