Growler shared by yobdoog on 10/25/08: Pours a transparent copper with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Body starts with nice fullness and sweet caramely malt with an assertive fresh allspice and clove character. Aroma of sweet toffee and floral orange peel with a touch of grapefruity hops. A pretty nice spiced winter beer.

Growler from brewery. Dark cloudy amber brown color with a lasting head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty with some bread. Taste is similar. A bit bubbly. Very spice dominant with some sweetness. This one is a bit complex as far the spice goes. Like a blend of Every spice.

Thanks to the growler share from Yobdoog! Hazy brown and a thin lasting head. aroma is spicy, a bit of gritty corn- dms, phenolic and clove and a bit minty. Earthy spicy phenolics, doughy caramel and dark wheats, light plastic, and an ok finish.

From growler, shared by yobdoog. Pours a hazy amber with a fizzy foamy beige head, lazy beads of fine carbonation. The nose is just huge heavy spice overload. Nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamon, maybe a bit of orange peel. Some sweet maltiness and earthy wheat. The flavor takes you back a bit, very herbal and spicy, too spicy for my tastes actually. Slightly sweet with some noticable alcohol. The more I had the more I kept getting this weird herbal taste that really reminded me of a pizza sauce spice mix. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Can’t say that I really got into this one, too much spice going on here.

Thanks to yobdoog for bring a growler to a tasting. Poured hazy brown in color with a beige head. Aroma of strong spices, caramel. Tastes of spruce, just about every kind of spice I can think of, nuts, and caramel.

Sampled from Growler thanks to yobdoog. Poured a deeper brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of spices (actually lots of spices), roasted nutiness, and brown sugar. Tastes of the same. Lots of seasonal spices.

From a growler. Slightly murky dark red/brown colored body. Huge spicy nose of (Christmas!) pine, jasper, twigs and berries - all that... peppery as well. On the palate it’s wet, oily and fruit heavy buy thankfully not overly sweet. Basil and thyme show up in an oily and slick finish.. Interesting stuff.
