Sep 7, 2004 Festival tap: Somewhat scotchy nose from brown headless sample. Malts were quite scotchy as well, leafy, slightly caramelly. Finish was bitter and dry.

Feb 9, 2004 Slightly hazed light chestnut color with a light tan head that diminishes to a small cover. Caramel and corn silage aroma. Rich toffee and dry spice flavor. A bit acidic in the finish that tend to distract a touch. Not as smooth as I would like.

Dec 13, 2003 A very nice ESB with a nice little kick. What a great Brewery. I am suprised more people haven't rated these beers.

Dec 2, 2003 The aroma is very floral, minimal carbonation. Very cloudy appearance, also amber brown. Nice bitter flavor with a nice malty backbone. This beer has some flaws but is still very tasty.
