badgerben (3160), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Oct 8, 2005 Dark gold color with no head. Decent aroma of smoke. Holy crap! This tasted like somebody dumped a few dozen tobacco leaves into the brew kettle. Not sure what the hell happened to this batch, but I hope it was just an abnormality. 1FastSTi (2402), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2005 Pours to a hazy straw body with a creamy white head. The flavor has nice, strong Turkish apricots, peach melba, ligh malts. Very unique. Nice tasting. Complex. Could be a touch too bitter/harsh for my tastes with this style. The aroma has some apricots and peaches. Barley? A bit light. The palate is bitter. Medium-light body. Dull carbonation. robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Sep 26, 2005 Apricot Coloring with White Ring. Angel Food Cake Aroma. Interestingly Enough, Carried into Flavor..Like Slightly Burnt Angel Food Cake...which Could Translate into A Malt Background with Grassy and Light Fruity Notes. Interesting Belgian. CharlesDarwin (1413), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 17, 2005 BLBF. Sharp band aid rubber aroma, and it’s not infected. Hazy golden pour. Overly bad and scary rubber flavor. Bites and hurts. hopdog (4654), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2005 On tap at the Onopa Brew Pub. Bartender told me this was a Belgian Ale (although if I had to classify it, I would call it a trippel). Poured a medium orange/amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of fruits, apples, spices, citrus and light candi sugar. Medium sweet. Some lacing left on the glass. I found this to be a decent Belgian that I would order again.
