Pitch black body, tan ring of bubbles around the head. Malted grain and chocolate/coffee notes in the aroma, bit of bourbon sweetness too. Big rich flavor, starts with a blast of dried apricot, strawberry and a thick moleasses-y condensed liquor flavor. There’s no discernable alcohol flavor, just heavy sweet "bourbon" notes. There might be some bittering hops in the finish, but it’s hard to tell with all the barrel sweetness.
