Has a fruity malty slightly yeasty aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty fruity yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty slightly yeasty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 8, 2009 Bottle 0,33ltr: Amber coloured ale with an slightly sour taste in it, maybe its nearby the Zenne-valley for its wild yeast. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA May 2, 2009 330 from La Soif du Malt. BB 11.12.09. Amber color and a three-finger beige head. Sort of toffee aroma. Medium minus body with soft carbonation. It doesn’t seem to know whether it is a belgian ale or a sour. Except it’s like a sour without being acetic. Strange. A little watery; a little herby. This just confuses me. Maybe I’m getting metal notes. It’s dry. BoBoChamp (1334), Gent, Belgium Dec 12, 2008 25cl, from the brewery, easy to drink, yet complex brew, balanced, clear, good head, nice brew wyzzywyz22 (754), Wirral, Merseyside, England Oct 6, 2008 Bottle, Belgian Belly. Amber with a fading off white head. Sweet and malty, but a nasty soapy/chemical/ metallic tang evident which was a major turn off and condems this to the bowels of dirge like mediocrity. Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Sep 19, 2008 golden orange coloured body with a off white head a spicy hoppy fruity aroma a spicy mettalic bitter taste with a dry bitter finish bierkoning (5985), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 6, 2008 I am surprised this beer is still on the market.
