Dec 15, 2008 Draught @ Brewpub: This one loses style points by being served in a frosted pint glass. It poured a clear golden yellow with a small white head on it. It left some lacing. The aroma was light but pleasant, with mainly some grapefruit and floral hop notes to the nose. Just a slight bitter taste with some maltiness. A good "starter" or session beer.

Nov 6, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Citrusy, floral hopping waltzes atop light toasted maltiness until a herbal and wooden hop bitterness seals the deal. This textbook Golden Ale is a perfect introduction to craft beer for neophytes, and it should please connoisseurs at the same time.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the filtered copper blond.
-For a "house blond", this is not shy on the hops, for once.
-The fragile malt sweetness is a tad too shy to balance out the hop display.
-Carbonation is prickly and the body svelte.

Jul 9, 2007 A very crisp and surprising offering from Opa-Opa. Reminded me a bit of a kolsch in its tight taste and crisp palate. Piss-yellow color put me off a bit, but aside from that, this was a tasty light ale.

Nov 14, 2005 Clear golden color with medium white head. Aroma of toasted malt, mild fruit and hops. Malty, bready flavor balanced by hops with a moderate yet assertive bitterness. Dry and malty with a slightly bitter finish.
