Little/no lacing. Chocolate fudge and mild roastiness cast the aroma in a gentle light, as some sprucey hop notes perk up here and there to add complexity. Sweet, creamy pale and caramel malts slowly emerge with warming, but the fudge never dies down and keeps the aroma round and quite sniffable, never giving way to any dark malt acridness or astringency. Clean yeast and no alcohol or flaws, with a medium aroma strength. Chocolate fudge, both in flavor and in texture (with a chewy starchiness coming from something, oats maybe?) is well-attenuated in its sweetness, with light roast dryness balancing and hints of dusty cocoa on the finish. Surprisingly well-hopped; not too much so, but there is definitely some juicy c-hop activity in the flavor. Marshmallows and vanilla dot the finish, as a lactose kick reminds me a bit of baileys, taken with the coffee/roast notes. Medium carbonation, no alcohol, flaws. Very drinkable and well-made. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark

A black coloured beer with a tiny ring of beige coloured bubbles. The aroma is lactic and there’s some smoky roasted malts character. It’s quite subdued bit pleasant in the nose. The taste is milky and sweet with some dusty chocolate. Tasty and very decent.
