Tap. Favorite Opa Opa brew. Crisp smooth taste. Couldn’t get one last time we had dinner there. They are shipping beer to local liquor stores. Good light beer.

12oz bottle. A very light golden body with a nice white head. Aroma of a typical pale lager. Taste of a little malt and a carbonated club soda. Not very appealing.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is grassy, grainy, some mustiness. Taste is grassy, grainy, some mustiness, secondary light hops bite. Light body. Good effervescence.

Bottle purchased at Gordon’s in New London, CT. Aliendan called the brewery and found out that the alcohol content on this one is 4.1%. Seems like it should be labeled a Pale Lager instead of a Low Alcohol? Anyhoo, pours clear pale yellow, white head. Aroma is slighty skunky (hoppy) and malty, but not too sweet. Flavor is hoppy and wheaty, not as weak as the light name belies.

Malt aroma with hints of yeast. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Light beginning with a slight bitter malt finish.

This beer is too light for my taste. It’s color is less than that of Coors Light. The aroma is a light hop sweetness, but this beer doesn’t have much else to offer.

Sampled on tap at the Eastern States Exposition in Wst Springfield, Massachusetts. This may not have been my best introduction to their beers but it is the one I happened to try. It pours straw-yellow with a very thin white head. It has a decent note of malts on the nose and a feeling of cleanliness and the mouthfeel is a creamy texture, better than many lights I have tried. The flavor had a thin veil of hops and the malty aroma does not convey itself into the taste. But on tap, at least it still had a crisp, clean feel to it.

Pretty basic for a low alchohol beer that ofers a little complexity. It shows the basics but just does not have the necessary body or finish.
